Hi, I’m Danielle

A NICU Nurse turned postpartum consultant

From a young age, I was fascinated by the process of pregnancy and birth and in love with anything related to babies. After helping to take care of quintuplets at age 10, I determined I would be a NICU nurse when I grew up. I was so excited to accomplish this goal by working as a NICU nurse for 7 years!
However, when I had my own first baby, I realized the severe systemic lack of postpartum support and decided that I would eventually like to start a business supporting parents through this beautifully chaotic time. Officially started in early 2023, this business has been a few years in the making and is a dream come true for me!
I am a mother to two little ones and am very familiar with the complexity that comes with parenting - the highs & lows, the decision fatigue, the feeling that you’re being both broken and built at the same time - I get it. A goal of mine is to encourage clients to listen to their intuition of what will work best for their families. One size does not fit all, and I hope to be a voice of support as you sift through the many opinions in the parenting world.
These days time is a bit scarce for hobbies, but some of my favorite things include nature, cooking, light-hearted shows, travel and knitting. You can always find a stack of books in my house and usually too much chocolate! I am also a follower of Christ and this has great influence on my desire to build community & to advocate for racial justice.
I am especially passionate about connecting parents with resources, encouraging mothers to honor & nourish their bodies, educating family and friends ("the village") about postpartum, and helping families set up their “nest” so they have more opportunities for bonding with their baby & savoring this special time.
Together let's make the future of postpartum brighter!
